Lake Matheson

Lake Matheson is famous for being a perfect photography spot, because in a clear and calm day it perfectly reflects New Zealand’s highest peaks – Aoraki (Mt. Cook) and Mount Tasman. Many beautiful photographs were taken from the very place that the photo above was taken. In my case I didn’t have the “luck” of clear and calm day. I am writing the word luck in quotes because I think that this photograph has its own beauty even if the mountain peaks are not seen clearly in the lake.

I think the sense of “infinite” depth that hovers in the mountainous background is Awesome !!!
