I took this picture in the Arthur’s Pass National Park, on the Avalanche Peak track. This track was one of the most beautiful tracks I have ever done in my life! The views that were revealed to me where breathtaking. When you get all the way to the top of the Avalanche Peak, you have a 360 degree view of the surrounding mountains, and on your way up there you get great views of the valleys below. On the top I also encountered many Keas, and if you are not familiar with these birds, look for my next photo of the week!
