Dealing with Advertisement in New Zealand

Since tourism takes huge part in New Zealand’s economy, Kiwis became experts at advertisement. When a person arrives at this beautiful country, he is being flushed with so much advertisement that it becomes very difficult to choose the accommodation or the activity or anything else for that matter. What can you do to deal with this aggressive advertisement? Well, first of all don’t panic :) , no really - never choose the first option you see. Always check all the alternatives you can find and compare them in terms of price, what you get in return, and availability. If you see a phone number on the advertisement, try to call them and talk to them in person to make sure that it is exactly what you are looking for. If there is a price on the advertisement, and it looks cheaper than other similar advertisements, always call to verify as the advertisement may be out of date.

The best way to choose an accommodation or activity is to talk with other tourists, and listen to their experiences, and if you had a good (or bad) experience, please share it with others so they can learn from your experience.
